My goals

One of my goals at the moment is to take the Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) certificate sometime this year.

To pass the certificate I need to pass a written exam that consists of 60 questions with a passing score of 72%, as english isn’t my native language I have 2.5 hours on the exam instead of the regular 2 hours. After I have passed the written I can schedule the practical exam. During the practical exam I have 8 hours to design and configure an enterprise Aruba WLAN environment.

I had one go at the written exam to see what kind of questions it contains and to get a feeling on what I need to study on. I got 63% which was way closer to passing then I thought I would be. I have scheduled a new time during july and this time I will put in some effort and study on the topics I got a low score on.

Even if I would pass the written exam in july I don’t know when I can schedule the practical exam as everything is still closed down because of the pandemic.

I will try to write as much as possible about my preparation towards the practical exam on this blogg.
